Default Wiring for ICE driver or passenger side?

I have heard that it is best to run power down the drivers side and speaker/RCA down the passenger side for th least risk of interference.
Is this true?
Or doesnt it make a difference?

i would agree, but with the battery being on the passenger side. I would recommend running the power down the passenger side.

yes its going to make my life more difficult especially since i want to add an eq under the drivers seat. If I can get away with running RCA/speaker down the drivers side I will do it but not if I will get interference.

Theoretically, you should run power lines WITH the vehicles own power lines....which in an s2000, would be the driver's side. However, for convenience, many, myself included, run it down the passenger side. Just get really good quality RCAs, run them down the center console, and you'll have no problems.

Agreed

I ran my power down the driver side (was easier to feed the 1/0 through the grommet on that side than on the passenger side), no problems with a pair of 4ga fitting alongside the OEM harness under the door sill plate.

Which grommet did you use on the driver's side? The one underneath the big black circle (brake component?) If so, my hands couldn't even fit to unwrap the tape on that grommet.

I have small hands?

I've spent the past 8yrs of my life professionally wondering how the hell engineers managed to design some of the equipment I've worked on and having to figure out ways to manuever my hands with/without tools into incredibly small places to make repairs

I think the one on the passenger side was more of a pain to get the power line into the cabin. Of course, I also was running 1/0, so I don't remember if it was maybe too big to fit into the grommet on the passenger side...
