Powered BAZOOKA EL8 Tube
I purchased a Powered Bazooka EL8 Tube off UBID and was wondering what you guys think of them. Will it produce decent bass for a full stereo sound. I added a couple of tweeters a while back and needed some bass to offset all the treble. As we all know, the door speakers produce little or no bass.
Also, did Honda run the rear speaker wires, or do I need to splice into the front wires for installation?
Thanks for any feedback!

I have one of these mounted in my S2000. It's attached to a board which was cut to size to drop in the "hole" above the tool kit. For power, it's running off of two channels of a Kenwood four channel amp that are bridged mono and makes about 100 watts. This was a huge improvement over the stock sound and pretty easy to install. Will it sound as good as a custom made box with large, high quality woofers? Probably not, but I didn't expect it to either. For me, it was an inexpensive, easy to do mod that offered great improvement over stock. If that's what you are looking for, it should do fine. If, on the other hand, you are looking for high end sound quality, and cost isn't a big issue, then it may not be right for you.

I found the Bazooka post just after I posted this message. The only thing that I didn't get an answer on was where to tap into the sound. Did you tap into the front speaker wire or just run straight from the head unit?
