Default Problem: Alpine 9855

I have a alpine head unit and for some odd reason it plays perfectly well in the winter. Not one single problem. But once it starts to get warm outside the cd player says error. I tried to use a cd cleaner and that didn't really help. it wouldn't read the disc. If anyone has an idea on how i can fix this please pm me or let me know on here!

Thanks!
kevin

are they burned cds, or store bought cds? I notice that when a burned cd is not readable due to degradation of the material in the disk, putting it in the freezer sometimes helps.

I asked what kind of cds you are using for a reason--cooler burned cds (i.e., cds that you may play during wintertime) appear to play more reliably than the same cds that are warmer (i.e., burned cds played during summertime) but the temp. in the cabin may negate this difference.

if you've tried different cds, then the only other possible cause is a bad cd player...? time to go shopping.
