Best place for space and sound? any best spots discovered?

In case no one notices its for an 06 model that doesnt have the nice 03 style factory opening

 

I've got an 05 with factory tweeter openings in the door panel...doesn't the 06/07 models have the same door panel??? Triangular molding upper front of door panel. Tweeter mounts from the rear of the door panel.

 

Did your tweeters come with nice looking covers?

If so you could mount them in the panel where the 02/03 mounts are.

If not I've seen them everywhere from the pillar, to the 02/03 spot, and on the door panel by the handle.

Anything above your knee's is best. My leg blocks the tweeter on my co-ax

 

Looks to me the stock locations are good, they are pretty high! That were Im puttin mine.

 

Do most fit behind the factory opening just fine? Is that as good a place for sound as any? Just above the knee blocking area is fine?

 

06/07 has the same but, I was referring to the 02/03 which is an easy factory swap and not available to the later models exactly

 

--- going for the Infinity Reference 6020cs into the factory openings it looks like. Still have the stock head unit but, will do that later

Anyone have experience getting these to fit into the stock openings? Will the tweeters fit behind the upper factory grille?

Good position and easy to fit
Also means cross over can go in the door card with them.
At least that's what I have done in my last 3 S's
