Proper way to tap into the fuse pannel

got it today, the wiring looks imense. It must not be too bad once i get everything lined up. As for running a fuse with the EDFC, my EDFC came with a 5amp fuse already installed in the wires. Tommorrow should be fun when i get thing in the garage for installation.

Also check with the EDFC what kind of fuse they recommend. 30 amp sounds like it's way too big and may not offer any kind of protection against a short. Most accessories run less than 5 amp but like I said, I don't know what an EDFC is. You'll also need a good, solid grounding point too.

Had a problem with my pillar gauges (oil pressure and volt meter) intermittently not working. Thanks to this thread I figured out where the previous owner tied into the fuse panel and found a loose connection. Problem fixed....... Mahalo!
