Default Prostar Gold 3D alarms

Has anyone used or know of these not so brand name alarms from www.samitoelectronics.com? My main interest in these are the fact that they have this proximity unlock feature similar to Toyota's Smart Key System (automatically unlocks when you get within a certain distance). They also have this new gadget that let's you leave your key and remote in the car. All you have to do is "knock" on the door with a certain code that you can program in and it will unlock. Great for joggers and people like me who don't like to have things in the pockets. I'm considering from their cheaper HT-800D $99 system which features the proximity option to the more Inspector Gadget Prostar Gold 3D system which even has an optional watch as a remote. For anyone who know anything about these systems or have some advice for me, please chime in. TIA

Went to a small shop near my work but they have a crappy selection and told me that they are scared to install any alarm that they don't carry. Then went to Car Toys and the results were just barely better. They carry mainly Clifford and Audiovox. For an average Clifford alarm ($300), door locks ($100), and proximity($150). Almost $600 for a less than average alarm with minimal options, c'mon somebody tell me where to go in the NW area. I remember 10 years ago, a setup like that with an average Viper would be less than $300. Had to vent a little, thanks for reading everybody.

Whats is the point of an alarm that only costs $200? They are expensive for a reason. As for your question, Ive never heard of them.
