I picked up a 10" MTX sub already enclosed in a 15" etc. Box. The Box is really good, It fits snug right over the tool box bay and doesn't shift around. I got them both for $100

Its a 400watt sub and Im running it with 250 watt amp bridged.

I might even be able to put 2 in that bay. But I'd need a larger amp.

 

How far does it stick up over the bay area relative to the trunk floor? Also, you're thinking you can fit 2 in that bay area?

 

No i just checked I can't put another of the same size next to it.

It doesnt stick up too far, i have it aimed at the back of the car.

Its a decent enclosed no matter what amp, speaker you use.

 

Did you vent your back shelf like Wes did? Also, any problems with rattling? Did you Dynomat?

 

No vent - great idea though but lots of work. No rattles at all!
