Hey Guys I am a NOOB when it comes to autosound and I want to get a great sounding deck that is a front loader (no flip down face). I have pretty much narrowed my pick to either the Alpine DVA 9860 or the Alpine CDA 9820. There is about a $50 difference between them, which isnt a big deal. I have read pros and cons about each one on Crutchfield. People seem to complain about the lag for the cd to begin playing on the 9860 and something about losing presets on the 9820.
I was wondering if anybody had either one of these decks and could chime in on which would be a cleaner sounding deck? I will probably add an amp and some door speakers and maybe a sub...just something simple that sounds good.
