question about cd changer
Hey guys, I have a question.
I have an OEM CD changer, but for some reason i can't get it to work.
I have an OEM CD changer, there is a very short cable standard comming out of the cd changer ...
When i try to connect the oem changer with that short cable wich is comming out to my oem headunit from my 00 s2k (yes the radio with cassette) the radio doesn't play cd's while the cd changer is getting power, you can hear this when i power up the car, and the cdslots can go in and out the changer what is electric.
Why does the radio don't say that the CD changer is connected? and played no CDs?
Why is the cable comming out the oem cd changer that short?
I read something about a "bus cable" but don't realy understand what that is, and were its used for, can you help me?
Thank you very much,
Greetings Tim

the cd changer is located, to the best of my knowledge, in the trunk. there is a connection back there for the cd changer hiding behind the carpet. but this is from my experience with an ap2, so correct me if i am wrong
