im planning to replace the stock headunit to a dvd hea dunit. my question is..... or what size screen is the max i can fit in that spot ??? i've searched and found 3inches lcd people using ..but can i go 3.5 or 4 inches? thanks

 

The opening in the S is single din only. As long as the headunit is single din you should be alright. 1 1/2 din or double din decks will not fit unless you completely modify the mounting area.

Only worries are depth of face. With our radio door the face thickness can't be to deep.

I'm using a JVC AVX-38...no problem

 

yeah i know we can't havea double din which sux...only single dins....

 

You can install a double din you just need to move the SRS unit and modify the location.
