Default Question about using Kenwood iPod Adapter & iPhone

So I'm thinking about adding this unit to my Kenwood head unit, so I can connect my iPhone.

I already have a 40GB tiny 1.8" Hard Drive connected to it, formatted so it will speak the names of playlists (which is pretty sweet, especially for 2006 technology), but I'm wanting to connect my iPhone so I can play Pandora Radio (and others).

So my question then is whether it will ONLY play stuff that's recognized as being on the iPod portion of the phone, or if it will play anything through the speakers that I set it to.

Thanks in advance for answering!

BTW, it's a pretty good deal that they have running at Crutchfield. Probably even better if you can find a coupon (and they're always out there) and use Discover Card Rewards (I can get 20% off by cashing in rewards)!

I'd ask Crutchfield directly, they always seem to know their products really well...I've had nothing but good experience from them.

Cool. I'll check and see if anyone here knows and ask them if I don't hear anything. Good tip!
