Default questions on keyless remote

questions on keyless remote !!. i have a aftermarket alarm installed, now my qs is can i some how convert my OEM keyless pads to work with my alarm> ?

Any help would be grt !!!

YES , if your alarm has an "armed " input wire and a "disarmed" input wire .. .. what brand do you have ??

its auto mate.. but not sure if i have the things u listed above... hum.... dammmi hate to take all the wires apart and search for those two wires u mention... but thanks for the info anywaz. i was hoping for something easier then that hahhaa

You should still have the factory receiver and everything hooked up, so you COULD program a factory remote, but I think you're asking how can you make a factory remote function on your aftermarket receiver...right?

The answer is no, unless you're willing to lose some functionality. For example, you could connect the stock trunk line to the new alarm's arm wire... push the stock remote trunk key to arm the new alarm. Not ideal, but doable.

If you're looking for something more slick, like changing the frequency of the remote, etc. don't bother, just buy a new remote for the alarm.
