Default Quick question

I have a 8500 hardwired in my car. If i get a V1 can i use the same wires?

Edit...im talking about just plugging in the phone type jack in to the V1

should be ok. it's just telephone wire.

the telephone cord itself is the same, but you should be sure that escort
and valentine use the same wires for the same purposes (which I'm sure
was your question). I don't know, but valentine probably does so you
can try calling them. Assuming the telephone cord you've already run
has an RJ11 connector at the end under the dash, seems like the worst
case scenario is you swap the escort hardwire connector for the valentine
one - you shouldn't need to re-run the wire through the A-pillar.
