Default Quick question about my up and coming system

After talking for a bit over pm's with PAS2KNut, I found out my system was seriously lacking. I bought it was a home-built custom enclosure where the tools went, which had a half-working (found 2 cracks in the face) Kicker 10" L7 Solor barric, and a 600 want single chanel amp. And I'm pretty sure stock components.

The only good thing about my car was the head unit (Pioneer DEH-P860MP).

Anyways.. so Jim told me to take a look at my front speakers and if they're stock to change them out. I haven't done it yet, because I just found out my money is going to be more than I planned this summer. So after that he told me to get the Alphasonik PSW 810 sub and enclosure, and then after that, to upgrade my amp to the Alphasonik PMA640HCA.

He said this was a good base map.. but I'm deciding to run a 6.5" component set-up from alphasonik, and also a 4" coaxial set up from them, and mount them in lucid rear panels. So with that said.. will I need to keep that 4 channel amp, and then also get a seperate amp for the sub? Because he told me I should bridge 160 to the front speakers, and 850 to the sub.. but all those new speakers would take more than 160 watts. (close to 300).

Any suggestions on what to do/input?

Thanks in advance!

-Aaron

I'd suggest adding an amp for your sub. You'll be using all 4 channels to power your cabin speakers.

I'm trying to go all alphasonik, so do you have any recomendations?

Would it just be a regular 2 channel amp to run my sub?

You could use a mono amp (single channel) to run your sub. That way, you don't have to bridge anything.
