Default Quick question guys !

Hey guys, i have a amp already installed in my car, i was wondering if its okay for me to use a T tap or a bridge to separate the 12V power to an additional amp ? or would i need to run a individual line just to power the new amp (want to power my new sub) so is it safe for me to tap it or will it not be sufficient stable power to my new amp now... i really dont want to run an new wire back but if i have to i will. Thanks for any input.

by "12V power", i'm not 100% sure if you mean remote or power, i'm assuming you mean power

whats the gauge of the wire you have already wired and what are the wattages of the amps

um no.. and no..

First off ur power wire should be to big to fit any t tap to begin with..
Plus if its REAL car audio power wire it will say the type of gauge on the wire itself
And t tapping anything is bad, the connection will eventuall fail.
