Default Racing Seat & SRS Light

So in my endless battle over to get or not to get a racing seat in my 2005 S2000, I've just come across one more dilemma: will an aftermarket racing seat (considering I'll have to remove my stock seat and unplug it) cause the SRS light to go off or cause any other issue?

now before get flamed let me just mention that I have do some searching and have not found my answer. I'm just not sure if there is just a plug for the OEM seat belt (which I intend to use with the racing seat) or if the seat has a plug of its own

if the only thing that plugs in is the seat belt then I should be good...but if it's the seat as well, then I need to know what people with aftermarket seats do

just fyi I'm looking at the Buddy Club P-1 Limited

thanks in advance for the help

I believe it's only an issue on 06+, and even then its only for the passenger side (because of the weight sensor). You will have an annoying seat belt chime, but you could kill that by jumping the Blue/Red wire to the Black wire.
