how easy or hard is it to pull the radio to get the serial nuber? bought mine used and need it to get the code when changing battery.

I think not too hard. You should be able to get your answers by reading here:

I believe if you are working on an 04 or 05 then you must remove a plastic piece from the console or pull the console back. Not completely sure as I haven't pulled mine out yet. Soon I hope (to replace stock head unit).

I have also heard that the radio serial number may be on a sticker near the latch of the trunk lid but this may or may not be crap. Your milage may vary.

You don't have to remove the HU. Drive over to your local Honda dealer and show them your VIN. They have a DB of every serial by VIN on file. If you bought your car from a dealer used just call the salesperson that sold you the car and s/he should be able to get it from the service department.
