Default Where to find radio code?

Ok, for someone who has been here so long I feel pretty stupid asking this question... Where do I find the radio code? I just reinstalled my stock head unit and I need my code. I would have checked in the manual first, but it is at my other house. Do all of the codes differ, or is there one that someone else can give me?

Like I said, I feel pretty dumb, but I dont want to drive 30 min to get my manual only to find it isnt in there.

It's always on the radio itself, on a sticker, on top I think. Or the dealer may have put a sticker in the center console or secret compartment or up on the inside of the trunk lid.

I had to pull my radio for the code.

Dealer (if he trusts you) may get the code from your VIN.

ah crap! I just got done screwing it back in and putting the plastic trim piece on, and now I have to take it back off again!

Thanks for the tip, though- I was about ready to drive and get my manual.

I don't think you'll find it on the radio itself. That would defeat the purpose of deterring thieves. In your little ownership package that included a second set of keys, owners manual, etc, was a small card with the radio code on it. If you lost or didn't get this card only the dealer will be able to look up the code.

It's not on the radio, only the serial# and reference#'s are on the radio. These are the #'s a dealer needs to obtain the code.

You can not get a radio code from a VIN. The selling dealer may have the code on file from the PDI.

My '03 radio serial # is on the inside of the door of the center console. And the code is on a card included with all the other stuff.
