Default Radio has really low volume

I just bought a 2001 s2000 and everything was working fine just suddenly the radio volume got really low . The radio works but the volume is really low and when you try to turn the volume up , the volume just dies ... You can only hear the radio with maybe like 3-5 volume lines on the factory radio. What does that mean , bad radio ? Maybe speakers are bad ???

I checked all the fuses , they all look good .

Sometimes it's the little things - did the "mute" button on the dash get pushed?

You can hear the radio station its just that the volume is reallllly low and when you try to turn it up it just mutes and you cant hear anything anymore.
