Default Radio Install on 2007 S

Just a quick and silly question. I was about to install my pioneer radio (had it in my 00 S) into my new 07 but I noticed by the radio door there's a passenger side airbag light. I've never noticed this on other S models but before I try to remove the door/frame I wanted to know if there's any precautions to take like maybe making sure i don't pull too far out when removing the door or unplugging/removing a wire or something.

Thanks in advance

Marc

yea don't cycle your key , meaning don't turn the car on and off or anything like that while the plug is off , and also don't put any wieght on the passanger seat or you'll set of the light and need a trip to the dealership

Umm I've ran without the door bezel for days. Does nothing to the SRS system. You just unplug the harness and that's all.

LOL actually I have. Back when I wired my system I had all the middle pieces off for a long time because I was lazy to finish it. Drove a lot of people around at work.

Are you trying to say the light gives some kind of feedback to the ecu? I think it's just not lit when it's unplugged.

yea it tests the resistance inside the modual , if it can't tell if the sensor is on/off then it throws a code.
