Default RADIO INSTALL

Looking at all of those installs is really mind boogling. My question, does anyone have a step by step instruction guide for removing the OEM radio and installing an aftermarket such as the Sony MEX BT5100 or like device on a 2007 S2000?
I am about to install one with the IPOD and HD adapters. Need some help in removing the old.

Thanks

Ready...

Set...

Remove shifter handle. Unscrews... righty tighty lefty loosy
Pull up on the center console tray. Just pull... its just clips
Open radio door, grab radio door close to the hinges... and pull... I know its tight... PULL like a man...
Once the bottom releases wiggle the top section near the vents and the door will pop off.
You'll see 4 screws to remove the deck. Take them out.
Unplug deck...

Put on the shelf...

Done

You can do it without removing the shift knob and center console on AP1's not sure if AP2's are different.

Thanks all for that info. I got the radio installed, had to cut a small slot in the door however.
Now I haven't been able to get the remote controls working using the aftermarket wiring control device.
I installed the MEX BT 5100 by SOny.
Is there another control device which will work?

Thanks again
