Radio install questions
Hello guys.. I was only able to hear my right left side tweeter. So i decided to check it out today and i discovered some cables were connected wrong. I hooked up everything and now i can hear my right speakers but not my left one, just the tweeter. Possible that my speaker is blown or something? Or the radio is bad? I tried connecting the right side to my left side and same result. Also the rear speakers do no work. Are those real speakers or they are only for looks?? and last but no least there is a plug that is not connected, could this plug be for the dash controls?? If so how can i get it to work with my alpine?? Here are some pics.

the extra plug is not for the dash controls - those two wires are in the
main connector. I believe it's for a trunk-mounted CD changer.
If only the tweeter works on a particular side, and you have stock
speaker wiring, the problem is almost certainly in the door as only
one set of speaker wires heads into each door. Once in the door, they
go to the woofer and tweeter. Could be a bad speaker, but since you've
already found wiring issues I suspect a previous owner put in some
aftermarket speakers and when they returned it to stock they didn't do a
very good job.
