Default Radio turns on with use of cig lighter with ignition off

So today while using an air compressor to fill my tires I noticed my radio came on when I powered my air compressor from my auxiliary port(cig lighter) I could change the song, turn up/lower the volume from the side controls. As soon I unplugged the compressor the music stopped...I think my car is possessed.

For some reason they use the same fuse. My radio stopped working a while back, fixed the radio fuse, still didn't work, changed the accessory fuse and it works. I sometimes blow the accessory fuse by plugging something into the outlet and there goes my radio. I just don't use it the outlet anymore.

That's really odd, but unless your cig lighter has been rewired, it shouldn't work unless they key is turned at least to the ACC position. If the key is turned to either ACC or IGN/RUN the radio should cut on. I would check the wiring to the cig lighter plug first. Does it do it if anything is plugged in (phone charger, GPS, etc) or just the air compressor?
