Hi everyone I want to replace the stock HU with something that works with Iphones. I dont have that much money to spend so my budget is up to $170. I just want something that could play music and recharge my Iphone. Please give me your opinions and recommendations

 

Most all head units that have a USB port will power and play music with an iPhone 4. At a retail price you are going to spend around $130 for one that will charge and play, but this will be a basic model radio with just ipod/iphone connections and not much else.

Do you have a preference one where you plug the cable that connects to your head unit? Most s200-ites like the cable to come from the rear of the head unit since we have a cover door (and also to hide the ipod/iphone but that would pretain to you since you are connecting to an iphone).

I recommend both Pioneer and Alpine and you can find a model from both brands that will fit your budget.

I got a new Alpine IDA-X305S for $87 plus tax at a Best Buy closeout sale. Awesome deck. I'd look for something similar on sale or used. It powers the stock speakers quite well but I am still going to put in an amp and upgraded speakers.
