Default Remote Start and PKALL help

Im currently wiring up a pkall into a 2002 honda s2000. I have the entire alarm wired up, its a 791xv. and I just got the Pkall wired up. I do the programming sequence for the hondas on the pkall and it says it programs the key (the led flashes 10 times), and then i try to remote start it and nothing. The cars dash lights and everything turn on but nothing else, it does not start to crank, now when i put the key into the ignition and then remote start it, it will start.

My wiring on the PKALL is as follows

purple/white + light green are connected to red/blue (car side data)
orange/brown is connected to red/blue (key side data)
yellow/black is connected to pink/blue (synchro)
pink is connected to yellow/black (ignition)
blue/white is connected to blue/white ( - status on the alarm)

I can not use D2D because there is no port for it on the 791xv unless im mistaken, so im going w2w.

According to expresskit i do not use orange/green, brown, black, green on the pkall. Has anyone done a remote start on an s2000? It says not to use the green (keysense) wire, do you think its possible i have to?

any help would be appreciated

i have never had this problem with a pkall anyone else bypassed the immobilizer with the pkall unit?

no, itll have to be in the on position, and itll recognize the key an start it

if i put the key in and dont move it, it will not recognize it and will not start.

and the pink wire is turning on the ignition because all the dash lights turn on just like if you were to turn the key to "ON"

I'd offer to help sort this out, but I don't support installing a remote start in a manual transmission vehicle. Sorry

did you solder your connections...??? and try to reset the unit before you program it.. sometimes it doesn't program up if you dont reset it... but that actually doesn't sound like the problem... check to see if you have all your ignition wires hooked up... theres an extra ignition wire that isn't on the data sheets or the wiring schematics... its located in the ignition plug where u catch your accessory wires and everything ... pm me if you need more help...

when you remote start the vehical without the key does the immolbolizer on the dash flash (the green key looking icon)....

And just like NFRs2k83 said, there is another ignition wire that isn't on direct techs or any other sheet, u have to power it up otherwise no start...

Thats why i was asking about starting with the key in the cylander and not being turned...

I totally agree with NFRs2k83

if it does not crank, then you have the starter motor wire wrong.

what wire did you connect the starter motor wire(purple on the relay satellite) on the car?

It should be the heavy guage Black/white wire on the car.

I use programable PK, and it works fine.

All ignition wires are connected together in the key ignition module.

this thread shows the wiring diagram.

Thank for all the replies. Looks like NFR hit it right on the head. I was missing a THIRD ignition that's not listed in directechs. After I wired that up it fired right up.

Also I have my starter wires wired up as followed. Green to they keyside, purple to starter side. Is that right? It should be since it starts up right?

i'm not sure what you have but, I only have 1 ignition wire hooked up and it's working fine.

seems like you have extra connections. there is no 3rd ignition on this car.
