Why do people find it necessary to put a remote start in the S? Is it just because you can? I have a remote start in my daily driver, only because of the cold weather and snow here in Wisconsin. Unless you use the S as a daily driver I highly recommend NOT installing a remote start. I have seen the carnage when my friends Girlfriend used his BMW, left it in first in the garage. He ALWAYS left it in neautral so he started it. It didn't make it through the wall, but it wasn't pretty.

 

i just had my compustar system installed (badass system btw, compared to my old DEI viper system) and they just left the original chip hidden inside the car. We figured it would be a bad idea to randomly have the metal key hidden somewhere for a person to steal the car since so much of the interior is just pop off, it wouldn't be hard to spot. They made me a new key and everything, so all is golden.
