John (darkknight1999) it was after reading this thread last night that I decided not to do business with you after all. Your know it all attitude and condecending tone really rub some people the wrong way; which is really a shame because you are very skilled and knowlegeable.

Will
No problem.

I get asked this question (or similar ones, relating to my custom screen work) about 5 times a week via PM. Often times I steer people to my Navigation install thread for additional details, and I still get asked back the same questions. Clearly some peeps just do not know how to help themselves or help others..they just want everyone else to do the leg-work for them

I always try to take the time to answer everyone. :cough: but it does get a bit tiring when obviously some people make no effort on their own part to learn/search or add to discussions. <--Just a general rant ..not saying that is/was the case here.

We really need to add some screen/NAV info to the FAQ stickies to please the n00bs and keep the cantankerous oldies (me included) happy.

N00bs try to be more patient, and try to ask relevant questions that ADD something that has not been deciphered before (try to search and find your own answers!).

OLd s ...remember 4...5...6 years ago you were that excited, exuberant noob that wanted all the I.C.E. work all done on the first day you got to

^ That is a nice install! I am going to follow it and see if he posts a DIY. I wonder what the OEM bezel will look like when modified.

It is possible, but like he said, it took 4 hours of actual labor, plus probably countless hours of research, communication, planning, etc. 4 hours of actual labor is a LOT when you consider the planning needed for 4 straight hours of moving.

This is now on my list!

I've read enough of this. The question has been answered. Yes it can be done, but be prepared to spend some cash to get it done.

Since the past page and a half has been personal, I've decided to close the thread. I've let this go about two days to long.

I also highly recommend that before you post please look at the FAQ section or do a search. It will save you a bunch of time to get your answer. If you don't find it in either place then post your question away.
