Default Repair on Headunit

I have a headunit that I'd like to put in my daily driver. For some reason, it stoped working one day. I havent made an effort to figure out whats wrong since it was removed.

Its a long shot, but is there any way to repair it? How can I even begin to diagnose what is wrong.

Steve

From your explaination, Im sure if you open it up and resolder terminal E on the diagram it will work again.

Which diagram? Can you provide more information on this? I hope it is this easy. I'll open it up and take a look.

Here is some more information. It is a Kenwood with a flip down controls (flips up and covers the face when the unit is off)

I tried hooking it up again tonight. When the car powers on, the controls flip down, but flips back up and returns back to the off position shortly after. The screen is blank.

I dont know if this is relevant but it only does this once, unless I unhook the wire harness (thus resetting the unit)

Well, nothing obvious is broken. The model is a KDC-MP922. Maybe these will help?

It was ajoke because your explaination was so vague. Send it out to United Radio Services for repair or what ever place is close to you. Theres no hope in you trying to fix it yourself, Im sure it needs new parts.
