Greetings I have a 2007 S2k and find the stock stereo aweful, as such would like to replace the head and door speakers. Any recommendations on a good head that will retain the dashboard controls without having to put in adapters? Also I will not be putting in a subwoofer but would like some door speaker with decent bass - can you recommend any?

there are no aftermarket HU's that will retain the dash controls.

Modifry sells some great full plug n play DCI's that you can use that require no wire cutting for certain HU's.

As for speakers, it really depends on how much you want to spend on creating sound inside a cabin that lets outside noise in so easily. IF you really want great sound from higher end components, you will have to do a good sound deadening job inside the cab.
