want to replace '01 factory speakers with infinity kappa 63.71 3 way speakers. anyone have these? all i want for now is to replace these, no new hu or amps or anything. will these fit? im an idiot when it comes to this.

 

most likely they'll fit if you make custom rings, since these are 6.5". I made rings out of MDF so that I could put in 6.5" MB Quart's. If you can't make them u can probably find adaptors somewhere or just get 5.25"s. 5.25 sounds alright but the bigger speakers definitely have much better midbass.

 

If the magnets are big on the new speakers you may have to cut off the backing part of OEM speaker "cages" to make them fit.
