Default reprogramming key fob

i had to get a second key for my AP2, and i bought a used oem honda fob, but cannot get it to reprogram.

I can get the reprogram sequence, and can reprogrma my current key, but cannot get it working on the remote for my newly purchased but used fob. I know the car the fob is off is off an AP1, however my S2000 is an AP2. the fobs however are identical..... Is it because I have an AP2 that I cannot get it to be reprogrammed... that FCC ID is also not visible on either remote as both are used....

I also disconnected car battery and after 2 min reconnected it, and it didnt work either...

any ideas?

Think you need to find that FCC ID information, for both key fob and onboard unit.
