I did a search and was not able to come up with an adequate answer. So my question is, has anyone installed the 2nd generation tail lights on a first generation car? I like the new LED lights, but have not found an answer if they will fit my 2000... Anybody with a good answer please! Thanx.

 

from what i gather, its a ton of work. A lot of metal cutting.

 

Well, if it is body work then forget it... I thought that it would be the wiring that was the main problem...

 

actually if you search hard enough, there is a "HOW-TO" on how to do it...the person did a complete write up with pictures and what not...the cutting/"body work" was nothing more than small holes and enlarging the existing holes that hold the tail lights on...

if i weren't so dang broke i would do this as well because Ricks sells the kit to make it work for about 500...
