I'll be more than happy to write a DIY... If I actually manage to order them, or even hear back from him

OK, I just completed a circuit that will do this without relays. It will be a small pc board (1")covered in heat shrink with 2 wires on one end and 3 wires on the other. Four of these wires are connected in-line with the side marker and the 5th wire will have to be extended to connect to the parking light circuit, which can be under the hood at the front lights or run into the car and plugged into the fuse box (there's a special terminal there for the parking lights)

The installation can be done without removing the inside fender covers. If you put 1/4" crimp terminals on the 4 in-line module wires you can simply unplug the factory cable from the side marker and insert the module in-between. It's possible to fish the 5th wire through the fender to the under-hood area without too much trouble and you can decide if you prefer to tie it into the parking light circuit at the headlights or run it into the car to connect at the fuse box.

If anybody wants these I will sell a pair of modules for $35 (one for each side marker) but they won't be available for about a week. Obviously this is more money than buying 4 relays but it's a heck of a lot simpler and will be easier to install. Plus less chance of damaging something by trying to wire it yourself.
Modifry, do you still sell these modules, i need a pair. Also, did anyone make a DIY guide on the install of them, so i can see how hard they are to install?
Thanks

There is a cheaper way to do this mod. It requires only 2 relays which can be purchased for between 5 and 10 dollars each. The way that I did it has the side marker dim with the running lights then flash bright when turning.

On each relay connect 30 to the positive side of the side marker light you (must cut the positive turn signal wire and connect the side from the bulb to 30 and the other side to 87 and 86), connect 87a to the parking light wire with a 1000 ohm resistor (which i believe is red/black at the headlight or the key less entry module in the driver side kick panel, make sure you test this wire b/c I'm not 100% sure about the color, but it will test +12v when the parking lights are on and 0v when the parking lights are off), connect the turn signal wire to 86 and 87, then connect 85 to ground. Repeat this for the other side.

LOL, sorry about that. All the numbers are just the pin numbers on the relay. If you want PM me and I'll draw a diagram and send it to you.

This is how I wired my side markers.

(sorry modifry, I took your drawing and modified it)

Just a note: I have LED side markers so a 1000 ohm resistor may not work for everyone depending on the bulb you have in your sidemarker.
