Default Rolling the window up without the front stopper

Has anybody tried deleting the window stopper altogether? It lands right behind the speaker and prevents one from using long throw drivers. There is a rear one still so the window doesn't jump out so to say. I did a trial run and it does go up about an inch much forward only.

Without it the options would be endless.

Perhaps you can fabricate a slim window stopper?

Ideally it would mount on the other side of the window. The speaker I'm trying to get in there is 4.3" deep. I don't think shaving it is going to do.

BUMP. Has anyone shaved their window stopper? Possibly only near the bottom where the magnet will hit the most? My magnets are huge with a large basket so I'll need to cut my inner door panel... From my reading, I can probably get away with a 1 inch spacer at the most (shooting for a 3/4). However, even with trimming my door skin screen, I'm afraid at xmax, the speaker will still hit.
