Ever since my window regulator was replaced (TSB) the window usually makes a "knock" sound while going up and down, and/or when the door is opened/closed.

When I have the door open and window up, I can move the window in and out relative to the door and duplicate the sound.

Before I have it looked at, has anyone else had this happen, what was it, and what was done to fix it?

 

Looks like the window regulator is loose. Either its not tightened to the door frame or its the regulator itself. Come to think of it my window does the same thing, i just never thought it was a problem....I will take my door apart and report back

 

They pulled the door panel and among other things, checked the tightness of all the window regulator bolts. The noise did not go away.
