I dont get it. So by having the amp ON all the time, like jasonb's case prevents the amp from popping? Does that mean that Poks2k and I (who have relays) get the pop because the relay keeps kicking off and on? Is it possible wire the relay to an ignition 12'v source rather than the REM line?

Doing this would probably not stop the popping from turning the car on/off, but atleast SHOULD stop the popping between track changes, mute, source, etc.

Good find r_duff. I would think that the "2-CHANNEL TURN-OFF POP ELIMINATOR" found on that site would take care of the problem while the car is on. At least for mute, volume all the way down, & source changes, etc. Probably wouldn't help w/ turning the head unit on/off though. I'm sending soundgate an email right now to see if it does what we need it to do. I'll let you know what they say.

awesome keep us posted. I wonder, as in our case, we need to wire an turn off AND turn on eliminator.. in conjunction... Still a bit confused as to what these items do...

For less than $50, I guess my expectations are low. If I had paid serious bucks then I would be more upset.
