Running wires
I already have an amp that was installed under the drivers seat. I'm about to install a sub and amp in the trunk and I plan on splicing off the wires already running to my current amp. I'm not sure of the best way to run the wires from along the driver's side door jam to the trunk. Can anyone offer any help? For example, what needs to be removed to expose an opening to the trunk while keeping the wires concealed? Thanks.
It depends on what you want to do. Where you have the amp installed, it sounds like you will most likely cut carpet uless you can find a slit for something like the seatbelt nag light.
To run the wires along the door...

Remove the door sill plate (with the S2000 logo). It is held in place with push tabs.

Remove the panel behind the seat. Pop the covers off the hooks and remove the screws. Gently pull the panel off, starting at the bottom. Just to get your berings...Stick your hand through the insulation on the drivers side and you will feel a large metal surface. That is the fuel tank. On the passenger side, you will feel the spare tire.

Remove the rear vertical trim piece. There is a screw near the bottom of the panel. After the screw is out, the panel should rotate forward.

There should be white nylon guides that along the metal edge of the exposed door sill. They should slide right off. In there is a nice cavity that runs the length of the cabin access to the trunk. You will see a wire harness somewhere around where the door latches. You will 'snake' the wire through until it pops out on the other side. Pull the wire, adjusting snags as you go. It took me 2 hours taking my time and not knowing how to do it.

Replace in the opposite direction.
To run the wires along the center console...check out the CD player installation instructions on one of our sponsors sites (HandA or something like that. It's an ad w/ blue letters and a white background). I ran the preamp wires down this way. Took about a half an hour w/ instructions. Watch those push clips. They will break if you yank to hard. Some of them are very stuborn. I believe I heard Pep Boys has them for sale for about 1/10 the Honda cost.
I may get around to pictures, if I can find the adapter for my A/D board. I have an RCA video signal that needs to be converted to S-Video. I know replacements exist, but I can't seem to find any locally.
Anyway...good luck.
