Hi,
Can anyone tell me what type of alarm comes with the an S2000? My key fob say "black box" on it. I have two and the lights both come on but they will not lock the car. Could just be the battery but I just wanted to check if i have an aftermarket alarm or not before I go to honda..

If your key fob does not have 'Honda' imprinted on it then you have an aftermarket alarm. The S2000 did not (at least 00-03)come with an alarm stock. Honda offered an accessory alarm however, I recommend upgrading your alarm if you have a stock alarm.

 

Ok it must be an aftermarket alarm, just havnt worked out how to use it. Thanks for the reply...
