Default s2000 FOB

i just recently picked up my first s2000 and did not recieve a keyless remote pad. i have a few civic fobs and was wondering if i can get them programmed for the s2000. sorry if im in the wrong section. im also new to the site.

Have you tried your local Honda dealer? Or try "factoryhondaparts.com"

I can tell you that the 2002 Accord can use the fob from the S2000, as I sold a girl one of my spares and it worked.

As long as it looks the same, you're probably fine.

I don't like the dangling remote either but unfortunately the S2000 uses a different frequency for the remote so the remotes from Civics/Accords/Acuras etc won't work on our cars. Search for Accord fob and you'll find some threads that explain why it won't work.

oh, but it DOES work.

At least the S2000 fob works on the 2002 Accord V6

i bought one on ebay for like 30 bucks and works like a charm and programing it takes 20 secs

Thanks, maybe the CRV and S2000 use the same frequency. I don't think the OP's Civic fob will work though. And the all-in-one keys like the Accord don't work. That's what I was trying to get.
