Yes, but that takes a lot of knowhow in the electronics department. Its not just a plug and play. A lot of things need to be added/rewired. (About 800 bucks or so worth)
Hate to be contrary, but I would say 'No' for exactly the same reasons.

I expect that it is no easy task to convert the JDM Nav unit into a display, and if you manage it, you've spent a whole lot of money to get a 5" screen. You'd be better off pulling the system and buying a DVD head unit with NAV and 7" screen to fit in behind the bezel. The end result will be much better and it will probably be cheaper.

if the nav unit display has a video-in .... with just a dvd-player (headunit) i probably make it work? From there on getting the cd-changer working would be easy !!! I think...........

That's the problem. I don't think it does.

Can you confirm whether or not it is the HD version or not? Where is the control unit? Under the seat?

At the end of the day, as I've said all along, I think you may be out of luck. Still you're one step ahead of me. At least you already have the hole cut in your dash! I have to do it myself.

I do not think that is the hd version because the cable coming out of the tv goes directly to a ( Y ) cable that connects the cd-changer too, and then to the radio .... It is not connected anywhere else.... the wire goes out of the radio connect to the dvd navigation and the tuner!!! Unfortunately the tuner does not work too because it is not PAL !!!
Too much luck for me...
The only good thing like u mensioned is that I have the cut on my dashboard so I can easily replace the whole stuff.... Will not be cheap!!!
