update pic!!! this is more of what final look will be. currently working on modifying the wind blocker so it can stay with top cover. had 2 get new amp because old one was 2 much 4 setup and new one has more options.

I like this idea a lot. I'm curious as to the sound quality... Everyones ears are different and sound is something that is hard to explain in detail with words, hearing it in person is the only solution I think. The location is nice IMO because I'm just not a fan of large subs or sacrificing space/weight and just a little extra kick would be perfect.

I like that idea also. Id be interested in getting one and finding how much it would cost. I have a sub in the trunk and it pretty much takes up all the room although the car isn't my daily driver.

I voted no, because I have a JLW6 in the trunk and it rattles like crazy when I turn the sub up. A sub in the secret compartment would only make the rattle worse because it's right next to you imo.

Yeah but you wouldn't have to turn it up so high and it probably wouldn't rattle much. Also I think its dynomatted nicely you would get little to no rattle.

It looks clean and I have never heard of that idea before. Like the others though I would worry about the rattle until I heard it. Very original though.
