I'm glad that you are happy with your modification. I voted no, because I'm going with the passenger foot-well sub install. The storage room in the S is too valuable to give up. I did not want to sacrifice any trunk space, either as I want to have room for two suitcases and other bags that we need to carry with us for overnight trips.

i just did it cause i can live without the compartment. i still have stuff in there but not a pile of things
