Arrow S2000's oem head-unit temporarily stops when boot is opened

Hi Folks,

This fault has recently developed in my YOM2005 AP2 S2000's oem head-unit: it temporarily stops when the boot is opened. It restarts after 3 to 5 seconds after. This temporary power loss to the head-unit also happens intermittently while driving the car. So far, it always restarts but it is really bugging me. Any ideas what could be wrong ?

there's this relay that I remember replacing that was causing a lot of issue with many other s2000's. it would short out the radio when opening the trunk from the trunk release since they're on the same circuit? let me see if i can find it

Thank you so much for your reply and the link ! Reading through that thread, it seems to me that the problem I have is indeed that relay. I will do my best to get that relay sorted and revert. Once again, thanks a million !

Today I replaced that relay with an aftermarket equivalent one (as the local stealership don't hold stock of it and told me that I would have to wait 3 weeks until they order it for me...some service) and the problem was resolved straight away ! Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction, petawabit !
