Hello Info fulled people

I've just bought an S2000 VGS from Japan...

It has a Sat NAV/DVD player inside... TOYS!!!!!!!!!!!

But no CD Player....

How do I get it all converted to English... ?
and Can I fit a CD Unit that all works...

I called my Dealership in the UK and they were'nt very interested!!!

Any ideas ???????

Normally, a DVD-player also plays CDs

 

I'm not 100% sure on this but you could probably ask someone with an Acura such as the TSX or TL with GPS and ask for their DVD and load the software from them. I believe the GPS in all the Honda/Acura are the same. Let us know how it goes.

 

Won't the DVD region codes be different? If the DVD is locked to the Japanese region, it won't recognize the UK/European DVD region code and won't play the DVD.

I can't recall if the region only applies to movies and games, or all DVDs. I know it is hard coded onto the DVD.
