Default screwy pioneer head unit

A week after i got this head unit the display colors started to invert periodically every 20 seconds or so.. This has also happened to my friends pioneer head unit as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. It's getting on my nerves... Thanks

Hold the source button down till the head unit shuts off then press preset button #5 you should hear a beep then turn the unit back on and it should stop flashing.

I don't have a Pioneer or anything, but I was just wondering what it is that you told him to do. Was his in some demo mode or something?

i have a pioneer too, but what he basically told him to do was turn of the invert feature. its a feature that pioneer put in to invert the colors periodically to fluctuate the lcd periodically and for another visual feature.
