Default SEAS Lotus subs

which is a better fit for the s2k? a 10" or 12" im planning on placing the sub enclosure in the toolwell, my guess is due to the small area a 10" might fit better. any comments?

cheers

It's possible to find 12" subs that don't need a large enclosure. I have an IDQ 12, I like the freq response of the 12 over that of a 10.

10" will sound the best IMO. 12" is a little sloppy in the higher tone reproduction in general (10" is better at this)... 12" will have better DEEP bass (below 40htz) (10" is worse at this)... SEAS Lotus is an SQ sub... match it to what you are going to be doing.

You can fit a 12 in the tool well, however, with this type of driver, you'll need .71 cu/ft of enclosure space for a 10' inch. so I doubt you'll be able to get enought volume for a 12 without rising above the trunk floor.
