I'd go with Rainbow Germaniums in that price range or Hertz Milles. Go active and get it tuned. You'll never look back after that.

Even without a full out mic'd tune, you'll still notice a major difference...

[QUOTE=Neutered Sputniks,Nov 25 2008, 01:06 PM] If money truly weren't an issue, and I wasn't installing in a convertible, probably Rainbow Platinums.

For the price of the Alpine sub, you can get a Stereo Integrity Mag. I promise the Mag will sound better - far less distortion due to the XBL^2 motor design. www.stereointegrity.com

Hertz Mille MLK 2 or you have the option to purchase the tweeter/driver seperate for active setup.

Rainbow Germanium Line CS 265.25
Again, you have the flexibility and choice to purchase the speakers alone if you wish to run active.

Man, I wish money wasn't an option for me when putting together my system.

...I don't mean to thread jack, but a quick question about the factory radio control; does anyone know of an adapter that would be able to retain factory radio control in an aftermarket radio yet?

I've searched a while back, but never saw anything. Just wondered if anyone knew anything about it or actually had something. Thanks!

Edit: Nevermind. Modifry's DCI, right? Lol.
