Default shallow subs under pax seat.

is it possible to put a 10" shallow sub with a fiberglass enclosure under the seat and still get enough cu/ft? i really dont wanna go the trunk route and i already have a small jvc sub underneath the driver seat which leaves me wanting more bass. thanks.

i dont think so...the cat hump takes up a substantial amount of space...take out your spare and put it there

Have you bothered even running your hand under your passenger's seat? If you had, you'd have the answer to your question. There's less space under that seat than the driver's.

And good morning.

i did bass shakers under each seat and then a box in the back, but if you cant loose that space back there then do a box in the passenger footwell. a single 10" and the bass shakers should be plenty - i highly recomend sound deadening the doors and behind the seats.

the shallowest of shallow mount 10" subs need about 3" of mounting depth. There's no way you'll get that under ANY seat in the s2k. Also need about 0.6 ft^3 of airspace (ideally).

the space under the seat in my Xterra is cavernous compared to the s2k and i'm struggling to get the 0.6 ft^3 that I need for that install, using the Pioneer shallow 10".
