Default shock sensor not sensitive enough.

i just got my viper 5701 alarm installed. i've already adjusted the sensitivity to the highest but its not sensitive at all. could the mounting location and the way its mounted effect it?

its currently mounted upside down somewhere in the car.

Thanks for anyone with advice.

somewhere in the car? you gotta be more specific. yes, location matters. I have mine pretty close to the driver's side since I feel that's where it'll benefit me the most. Works pretty good.

I also have a proximity too and i have that set to the highest as well. It goes off during rain, when someone walks about a foot by it and even if the convertible top is tapped.
