Default Should I get an amp?

I recently put in an alpine 9827 headunit and boston acoustics SL65's in the doors. It sounds better than stock but not quite what i was hoping for. Would an amp make a big difference, and if so any suggestions?

An amp will definitely make a big difference and is well worthwhile. I tried running my speakers with only my Kenwood head unit and as you experienced, it was only a minor improvement. After getting my amp installed the system was much better.

If you want to go cheap

If you would consider getting rears in the future or a sub

That's a great amp, and they are an authorized dealer.

Can't stress enough how important it is to gauge what you want prior to purchasing. Thinking ahead now will save time, money, and headaches in the future.
